Valentine's Day

In the last english lesson we talked about Valentine's Day. I thought you might be interested in some information about this day and companies which earn the most only because of this day. By the way, this year I hadn't celebrate that day. Every February 14, across the United States and in other places around the world, candy, flowers and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine. Valentine’s Day spending was expected to reach $18.6 billion this year.  On average, Americans are expected to spend $130.97 this holiday. Consumers spend their money on products, such as greeting card, candy or jewelry. Companies that make the most on Valentine’s Day typically look to the holiday as vital to their bottom lines.
