Remain standing until invited to sit down. You may shown to a particular seat. Put your napkin on your lap as soon as you sit down. The fork is held in the left hand and the knife in the right hand while eating. Do not begin eating until the host or Hostess says "Mahlzeit" or "Guten Appetit". Finish everything on your plate. So you show the cook that it was good. You have finished eating by laying your knife and fork parallel on your plate. Now I want to tell you table manners and eating habits in our family. During the week, I never eat breakfast because I do not have enough time in the morning to eat something. When I have a long day at school, I eat something for lunch from the buffet at our school.
