I have just read an article in my english book.
I thought you might be interested because it talks about family life in Britain.
In Britain, there are more single people than married people.
Basically what it says is that people aren't married when they get children.
It is also mentioned that people generally get married at a later age now.
What surprised me most was that most women are more concentrated on their jobs and put off having a baby until their late thirties.
In Austria, I think that the most parents are married. I do not know a lot of people who are not married and they have children. But it is very different in every part of Austria.
