ColorCouch

Hello everyone, in the last English lesson, we talked about our own business ideas. Everyone had to come up with an own product which isn't on the market yet. I thought about a couch which changes the color according to your mood. You can also switch it into your favorite color with a remote control. A display is built in and you only have to lay your hand on the scanner. It will scan your hand and swap the color depending on your mood. For instance, it could transform itself into green, which symbolizes happiness. There are eight colors for different moods:      ·  Green ->  Happy ·   Black ->  Angry ·  Pink ->  In love ·   White ->  Hopeful ·   Red ->  Busy ·   Brown ->  Tired ·   Grey ->  Neutral ·   Blue ->  Sad The product will come in three different sizes. The customers can buy an armchair, a two-seater and a three-seater couch. The...

Prague

Hello everyone, you can read in the headline which topic I have for you today and I hope you are interested. I went to Prague for three day at the beginning of October with my classmates.  On the first day we started our trip at half past eight with a double-decker bus. It took us about four and a half hours to get to our hotel. At two o'clock our city-guide showed up. We saw a lot of old buildings, for example the "Karlsbrücke" and shopping centers. On the second day we had breakfast at eight o'clock, an half hour later our panorama tour with the bus began. The city-guide told us a lot about the town. At one o'clock we had a boat trip on the "Moldau". In the evening we visited a black theater. On the last day we packed our bags and suitcases and got to the bus at half past eight. That day we only visited the Budweis brewery. A young woman told us a lot about Budweiser and its history. At four p.m. we arrived at school. Prague isn...

Austrian Stereotypes

Hello everyone, I know that I haven't post anything for a long time. But I had nine weeks of summer holidays and I was really busy. Because I worked for four weeks and I spent two to three weeks in Croatia. But now I am back again. I just welcomed the exchange student "Lisa" from England in my school. As her buddy I already spent some time with her. I released  that she had a lot clichés about Austrian people. She thought that every Austrian person is wearing "Dirndl" or "Lederhosen" all the time. But that is wrong. I mean we love our traditional clothes and we wear them an festivals but we also wear normal jeans and T-Shirts in school or at the weekend.  The second cliché she had about Austria, was that everyone loves skiing. Maybe it is true, we like to see ourselves unbeatable when it comes to skiing and ski jumping. She also thought, that the most Austrian people are arrogant and unsocial. I think that isn't true or wrong. There are...

Funny Advertisment

Last english lesson we were talking about advertising and how they influence our lives. Let me show you a picture of an ad and tell you about it. The advertiser is Pepsi. I think everyone knows what Pepsi is and what it produce. The picture shows Santa drinking Pepsi. But Santa Claus normally works for Coca Cola. Pepsi thought it would be funny and it is but I think Coca Cola is not very happy about this.     My thoughts about advertising in general Advertising is a big and important point in marketing. Some ads are very funny and good, but on the other hand there are also some ads which are harmful to society because of their strong influence.

Donald Trump has nothing to apoligize for

In our last english lesson we were talking about the elections in the United States of America. We watched a video on YouTube. It was about the candidate Donald Trump. In the interview with Mr. Colbert he tells us about his ideas, if he really was elected president. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ns7ocpRhDD8 Donald Trump belongs to the Republicans. He is very self-confident. He said in the video that he had nothing to apoligize for. If he win the elections, he will build a wall between the USA and Mexico. He wants to stop the illegal Immigration and the drug traffic. He said that Mexico would pay for it and the USA would build the wall. I think Mr. Trump wouldn't be a serious politician, but the idea to stop the immigrants isn't bad.

My shopping habits

In our last English lesson we were talking about shopping. We learnd that there are many typs of stores, everyone likes another store more than someone else.. So I'd like to tell you about my shopping habbits. If I go shopping, I like to buy new clothes and shoes. But sometimes my mum and I, we order clothes on an e-tailer. It is easier and not as busy as when we go to a store. An e-tailer offers goods via the Internet. The customer orders online, pays by credit Card ans has the goods delivered to his/her home. I sometimes look for bargains. Not always, but when there is a expensive thing I always wanted and then there is a bargain on this product, I would think about buying it. My favourite shopping day is friday, because the most people have to work at the afternoon and there aren't so many at the shopping malls.
