My Christmas Holidays

Hello everyone,
in our last English lesson we talked about Christmas and traditions. I would like to tell you how I celebrated Christmas and New Year.

On Christmas Eve, my parents and I decorated our Christmas tree. Around two o'clock we got some gifts. On the afternoon, we drove to my grandma and my aunt. We ate and talked a lot. The most surprising present was my writing desk from my aunt.

On the next day, I assembled my desk. My dad was so kind and helped me with it. Then, I got ready for the last Christmas visit. We were invited at my aunt's place to eat fondue. We talked about god and the world. I love the Christmas time, everyone gets presents and the family is together talking about everything and being happy.

The following week nothing interesting happened, I slept long, did my homework's and studied for my tests and exams. This time was really quiet and sometimes I didn't know what to do against my boredom. I got tight for New Year's Eve because my family and I celebrated with friends. We were around 25 people and I went to bed at half past 3 a. m. in the morning. 

At the beginning of the last week of my Christmas holidays, I went to Pluscity with my aunt, my sister and my brother. We shopped a lot and had lunch there. The rest of the week I studied. On Friday I got sick and had to lay in bed the whole weekend.
