Environmental NGOs

Hello everyone,
in the last english lesson we got some tasks to comply with. I got three environmental NGOs which I want to explain to you. I had to nominate one organisation of them to which this year's donations should go. In the Future there should be a cooperation with the choosen organisation, I will describe you, how I tought about the advantages of it.
Lets start with some information about the three environmental NGOs International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), Greenpeace (GP), and World-Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

The IUCN is a membership Union composed of both government and civil society organisations. It provides public, private, and non-governmental organisations with the knowledge and tools that enable human progress, economic development, and nature conservation to take place together.
Created in 1948, IUCN is now the world’s largest and most diverse environmental network, harnessing the knowledge, resources and reach of more than 1.300 Member organisations and 10.000 experts. It is a leading provider of conservation data, assessments, and analysis.

Greenpeace is an independent global campaigning organisation that acts to change attitudes and behaviour, to protect and conserve the environment and to promote peace.

WWF’s mission is to stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.

My Timetable

I have been to the business college for a month now. My favourite day is thursday. The bad thing is that I have school till 3 p.m. The first lesson is Religions. The next is French. The third lesson is German and than is geography. The fifth lesson is a break. Than one lesson English and after that lesson I have two lessons Sports. French, English and Religions are my favourite subjects.
