Business Etiquette

Hello everyone,

in the last english lesson we were talking about business etiquette. It is important to take care about personal and professional behaviour but performance and quality are important too. Don't forget: Business is about people.

I have to list the three most important etiquettes that we have mentioned in the last lessons and here they are:

  1. Don't interrupt. Interruption in the middle of a sentence is rude and shows disrespect.
  2. Be on time. Being punctial shows others that you value their time.
  3. Don't walk into someone's office unannounced. Knock on the door, say hello and ask if it's a good time to talk.
This topic is really important in the companies and meetings nowadays. But these business etiquettes aren't true for every country. You should inform yourself before having a meeting with people from other countries.
